For parties, Case Tracker allows you to view the status of your case, including progress, case documents, correspondence, supportive measures, and outcomes.
Note: The tools that appear on the left navigation bar will depend on your user role and permissions. This article covers the permissions for parties. Learn about permissions for Admins.
Navigation
Main Navigation
The main tools are organized on the Left Navigation Menu.
Quick Escape
Click the Quick Escape Button on the top of the screen to leave Case Tracker immediately and switch to google.com.
Notifications
New notifications are under the Bell Icon at the top of the screen.
Settings
Contact information and password
Settings specific to your User Profile, including your username and password, can be found at the top right of the screen under your name.
Notification Settings
The Preferences option, found on the Left Navigation Bar, allows you to personalize some of your communication preferences. .
You have the ability to enable or disable text messages (if used). You can also set Do Not Disturb times or dates for email or text notifications.
If your institution has listed holidays or other campus closures, those can be found here as well.
Enabling the option Hide Sensitive Details, will allow you hide any documentation or fields related to incidents from your own view.
View Your Cases
To view all cases that you are a party of, click the My Cases Tab on the Left Navigation Menu. On the My Cases Screen, click on the Case ID to view additional information.
If you do not see a case listed here that you would expect to see, reach out to your case manager who may need to adjust a setting in Case Tracker.
Case Details
To view the details of a case, including the case type, incidents, synopsis, and case managers, click the Details Tab on the Top Navigation Menu.
Case Progress
To view the status of the case and which steps have been completed, click the Progress Tab on the Top Navigation Menu.
Correspondence
To view and reply to messages from case managers, click the Correspondence Tab on the Top Navigation Menu.
Case Documents
Click on the Case Documents Tab at the top of the page to find case documents shared with you.
Many of the case documents shared with you will be in the All Files tab, and they may be organized into folders. Some documents may be under the Notices tab, in a folder associated with the step in the case the document is related to.
To upload files to Case Tracker, click on All Files, and then the +New button. Press the Save button after dragging files or browsing files to add them.
A message, ‘Operation Successful’ should be displayed in a green box in the lower left corner of your screen if files were uploaded without any issues.
Supportive Measures
To view interim measures, supportive measures, and accommodations that are associated with the case, click the Supportive Measures Tab on the Top Navigation Menu.
Case Outcomes
To view the outcome of each incident and violation associated with the case, click the Outcome Tab on the Top Navigation Menu.
Your school administrator controls what case outcome information can be viewed by parties. Contact your administrator to gain access to this information.
Add Advisors
You can invite advisors to join Case Tracker. Click the Advisors Tab on the Left Navigation Menu. On the Advisors Screen, click the New Advisor Button on the top right of the Advisors Table.
Once your advisor has joined Case Tracker, you can add them to a case. Click the My Cases Tab on the Left Navigation Menu and navigate to the case that you would like to add an advisor.
Click the Add New Button at the top right of the Advisors Table then select which advisor you would like to add to the case from the pop-up window that appears.
When you add an advisor to a case, they will be able to view the case details, your case files, and any of your correspondence messages.
Advisors will have access to your case record until the case is resolved or until you remove them from the case.
