Add an Advisor to a Case

Learn how to invite advisors to join Case Tracker and assign them to a complainant or respondent.

As an Admin 

Note: Only certain users can add an advisor based on the permissions set by the account admin. Learn more about user roles and permissions 

To invite an advisor to join Case Tracker, click Advisors on the Left Navigation Menu. On the Advisors Screen, click the New Advisor Button on the top right of the Advisors Table

Enter the name and email address for the advisor then click Save/Send Invite at the top right of the page. The advisor will receive an email invitation to set up their Case Tracker account.   

Once the advisor account has been created, you can assign them to a complainant or respondent. Click Cases on the Left Navigation Menu and navigate to the case that you would like to assign an advisor. 

On the Manage Case screen, click the sub-menu next to the complainant or respondent then click Edit.  

Select the advisor from the dropdown menu then click Confirm.  

As a Complainant or Respondent 

To invite your advisor to join Case Tracker, click Advisors on the Left Navigation Menu. On the Advisors Screen, click the New Advisor Button on the top right of the Advisors Table

Once your advisor has joined Case Tracker, you can add them to your case. Click My Cases on the Left Navigation Menu and navigate to the case that you would like to add an advisor. 

Click Add New at the top right of the Advisors Table then select which advisor you would like to add to the case from the pop-up window that appears. 

When you add an advisor to a case, they will be able to view all case details and documents. Advisors will have access to your case record until the case is resolved or until you remove them from the case.
